OUR VINEYARDS
OUR WINES ARE BORN IN A SPECIAL PLACE
Our 4 estate-owned vineyards within the San Antonio & Casablanca
appellations cover a surface of 160 hectares (395 acres).
These vineyards have key features that come together to create a unique terroir.
COASTAL INFLUENCE
The proximity to the Pacific Ocean benefits our vineyards. They experience cool nights, morning mist and sea breezes during afternoons. This is a cool and dry region, where rains only fail during the winter period. All these conditions help to achieve slow ripening, healthy grapes with crisp natural acidity and intense flavors.
GRANITIC SOILS
Only found surrounding the Coastal Range (Cordillera de la Costa), these soils are prevalent in gentle rolling hills, exhibiting an advanced weathering of the rock material. They are poor in nutrients and very rich in quartz minerals. Their sandy allows for excellent drainage and root penetration.
